கடுமையான ஆட்பற்றாக்குறையை மேலும் உருவாக்கி, கடும் பணிச்சுமைகளையும், நெருக்க்கடிகளையும் ஊழியர்கள் மீது திணிக்கப்படுகிறது.
வங்கித்துறைக்கும், வங்கித்துறை ஊழியர்கள் அலுவலர்களுக்கும் மிகப்பெரும் ஆபத்து எதிர் நோக்கி இருக்கிறது.
பொதுத்துறை வங்கிகள், கிராம வங்கிகள், கூட்டுறவு வங்கிகள் என யாவற்றையும் தங்கள் இஷ்டப்படி இணைக்க மட்டுமல்ல, மூடவும் கூட சட்ட திருத்தங்கள் தயாராகி இருக்கின்றன. ஊழியர்களை முன்னறிவிப்பின்றி வெளியேற்றவும் ஷரத்துகள் இருக்கின்றன.
பெரும் முதலாளிகள் வாங்கிய கடனை தள்ளுபடி செய்து, வங்கிளின் ஸ்திரத்தன்மையையும், எதிர்காலத்தையும் பாதிக்கும் காரியங்கள் அப்பட்டமாக நடக்கின்றன.
தங்கள் பொருளாதார கோரிக்கைகளைத் தாண்டி, வங்கி ஊழியர்கள் தங்கள் எதிர்காலத்திற்காக போராட வேண்டிய கட்டாயம் ஏற்பட்டு இருக்கிறது.
இதை உணர்ந்த வங்கித்துறையில் இருக்கும் அனைத்து தொழிற்சங்கங்களும் (UFBU) வரும் ஆகஸ்ட் 22ம் தேதி, ‘வேலைநிறுத்தம்’ அறிவித்து இருக்கிறார்கள். இந்த ஆபத்து நமக்கும் சேர்த்துத்தான் என்பதால், (UFRRBU) கிராமவங்கிகளில் உள்ள அனைத்துத் தொழிற்சங்கங்களும் வரும் ஆகஸ்ட் 22ம் தேதி வேலை நிறுத்தத்தில் பங்கேற்க முடிவு செய்திருக்கின்றன.

கோரிக்கைகள்:-
1. Do not privatise Public Sector Banks
2. Stop plans of mergers and consolidation of Banks
3. Do not write off corporate Non-Performing Assets (NPAs)

15. Removal of Gratuity Ceiling under Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972 & Total Exemption of Income Tax on Gratuity and Leave Encashment on retirement
16. Pension related issues Improvements in Pension Scheme similar to RBI/Central Government including for past retirees - Extension of erstwhile Pension Scheme in banks in lieu of NPS - Follow-up of Record Note dated 25.05.2015
17. Adequate Recruitment in all cadres.
